Food Futures Exhibit

A futures exhibit displaying three scenes of the future. Each scene depicts a slice of a character’s life, broadly depicting the future of food in 2050.

This project was originally developed as Trashorite Shimmer alongside Mathura Mahendren, Kristen Websiter, and Ryan LeBreton in 2018 as part of OCADU’s Master of Design in Strategic Foresight & Innovation program. It is included here as an example of what Rachelle Bugeaud (Avenear’s founder) has previously built as an experiential futures exhibit.

The project consisted of the development of four scenarios for the future of food, with one scenario (high tech society, wasteful economy, yet experiential foods) being mocked up as an exhibit for others to discover.
